Hilton Interactive Training

Hilton Interactive Training (HIT) was designed to teach new employees how to register guests using the Hotel’s HPMS computer system, as well as, general rules of etiquette and Hotel policy. At the time, the hotel was using a DOS-based front desk registration system. With a high turnover at the front desk, Hilton needed a user-friendly training system to teach new employees how to register guests using these screens. MetaCreations contracted me to write the documentation plans and produce the project.

Our team came up with an Indiana Jones look-and-feel with a simple “stepping stones” approach to teaching. Each lesson was presented in a multimedia format with video, audio and text boxes.
